Buddha Shakyamuni.

Tibet. Alte Messing Figur. Reste von Kaltgold- und polychromer Bemalung. Höhe 14 cm. Gewicht 430 g. Aus deutscher Privatsammlung.

Die rechte Hand des Buddhas zeigt das bhumisparsha mudra, die linke ist in dhyana mudra und hält eine patra. In dhyana-asana auf doppeltem Lotosthron sitzend. Mehrteilige, monastische Gewänder tragend. Boden verschlossen mit gesiegelter Kupferplatte (wohl erneuert). Altersspuren, Abrieb und Oxidation.
