Tibet. Große, antike feuervergoldete Bronzestatue. Massiv! Montiert auf Holzpodest. Höhe 59 cm (gesamt) / 51,5 cm (Figur). Gewicht 14100 g. Aus norddeutscher Privatsammlung.

Die rechte Hand des Bodhisattvas zeigt das varada mudra, die linke ist offen nach unten gerichtet. In tribhangha stehend. Sanftmütiger Gesichtsausdruck und kraftvoller Körper. Krone, Kleidung und Schmuck eines erleuchteten Bodhisattvas tragend. Ushnisha mit vajra und Darstellung eines Buddhas. Altersspuren und Abrieb. Sehr große, schwere und beeindruckende Darstellung.
