Der neunte Karmapa Wangchuk Dorje (1555-1603) sitzt auf einem großen, von Löwen gestützten Thron. Seine rechte Hand zeigt das bhumisparsha mudra, die linke hält eine Vase. Monastische Gewänder und die berühmte Schwarze Krone tragend. Oberhalb die weiße Göttin Sitatapatra mit drei Gesichtern und acht Armen, Karmapas Kloster Tsurphu sowie ein Thongdrel mit Darstellung Buddha Shakyamunis. Unterhalb Karmapas Schützer Jonang Taranatha. Minimale Altersspuren.

The 9th Karmapa Wangchuk Dorje, (1555-1603) sitting on a lion throne. His right hand showing the bhumisparsha mudra, his right hand holding a vase. Wearing a monastic robe and the famous black crown. At the top is the female meditational deity, Sitatapatra, white in colour with three faces and eight arms, a depiction of Tsurphu Monastery and a Thongdrel with a depiction of Buddha Shakyamuni. At the bottom left is the protector Raudrantika Mahakala. Minimal sign of age.
