16. Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje (1924 – 1981).

Dunkelbraune Kupferbronze. Statue mit Steinbesatz und polychromer Bemalung. Mala separat gefertigt und abnehmbar. Höhe 24,5 cm. Gewicht 1740 g.

Der 16. Karmapa in der Darstellung während der berühmten „Zeremonie der Schwarzen Krone“. Die rechte Hand berührt die Krone, die linke hält eine Mala vor seinem Herzzentrum. Auf einem doppeltem Kissenpodest sitzend. Die Schwarze Krone und mehrteilige monastische Gewänder tragend. Feine Gravuren. Bodenplatte mit Siegel.

Dark brown copper bronze. Statue with stone ornaments and polychrome painting. Mala separately casted and removable. Height 24.5 cm (9.6”). Weight 1740 g.

The 16th Karmapa is shown during the famous “Black Crown ceremony”. His right hand holding the crown, his left hand holding a mala in front of his heart center. Seated on a cushion pedestal. Wearing a multipart monastic robe and the famous “Black crown” of the Karmapas. Consecration plate with seal. Fine engravings.
